Koranna Two Mountains Bike Trails - Marquard, Free State
Renowned amongst the Mountain Bike fraternity to be one of the best and most challenging mountain bike trails in South Africa. Bikers will discover the Free State is not flat! Distance: Short route: 30 km; Long route: 65 km.

Setting out from Christmaskrans cottage or Rietfontein Lodge, this network of trails was the first trail ever established in the Free State. Come to the big sky country. Distance range from 6 - 66 km, suitable for all riders.
Salpeterkrans Mountain Bike Trails - Lydenburg, Mpumalanga
There are three trails which set out from this farm. The Steenkamps mountain trail (45 km) takes the rider to the highest peak in Mpumalanga at 2243 m. The Mapochs cave trail (45 km), visits the site where the Ndebele captain lived. Ben Lavin Nature Reserve - Louis Trichardt, Limpopo
This reserve offers nature lovers the opportunity to explore and experience the natural diversity of this entire 2500 hectare reserve on a mountain bike. There are three routes with a total distance of 29,5 km There are eleven mountain bikes for hire. Overnight facilities available are; Two luxury safari tents at the Tudwa-Tudwa camp or stay in lodges, huts, tents under thatch, caravan sites or pitch own tents at the Main camp. Come share and experience the magic of this Lowveld reserve where three adventure options are offered for hikers, 4x4 enthusiasts and mountain bikers. Both the off- road vehicles and mountain bikes will follow the same network of trails, a total distance of 64 km The roads traverse five eco zones ranging from the Mopanie clad lowveld plains, to mountain terrain and bush where excellent game and bird watching will reward any nature lover. There are two network of trails offered at Thabaphaswa. The first network offers routes on Groenkom farm totalling a distance of 40 km. The areas are surrounded by mountains and high ridges. The trail is in a figure eight and is fairly easy but a challenging ride across Ndebele neck, where bikes may be carried, is offered. The second main network of rural roads is in the mountainous area which surround the farm.
