Distribution is Somalia. Habitat is rocky and sandy desert areas. It is a small animal, they are reddish brown and the belly is white. Both the males and females have horns, which are short and deeply fluted. The female is very similar to the male but their horns are thinner and smaller. It lives in small herds of about 5 to 10 individuals; the old males usually are solitary. They mainly feed on grass and a great variety of scrubs.The non territorial males form groups of bachelors, although it is normal to see old solitary males. |
