The range of this East African gazelle is discontinuous, in south-eastern Sudan, south-western Ethiopia, south and central Kenya and north Tanzania (Wilson & Reeder, 1993; East, 1996). The first map of its geographic range was obtained from Kingdon (1971-77), later updated using the more recent and reliable country maps in East (1988), as indicated by Dr. R.
